BAND

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PIPE AND DRUM BAND.Please find below the details of practice and instruction

We are a voluntary organization and are fully insured, and our instructors have had their police checks completed.  

Practice chanters for those just starting out will be loaned out for free, and all printed music will be provided.  We would advise to bring your own water.  CI PALMER WILL BE ON SITE AS THE SUPERVISING ADULT STAFF. Parents are not to drop off and leave until they have personally checked in with CI Palmer and CI Palmer has given instructions to them. Those attending the band acknowledged in this chat you understand the instructions and will give these instructions to your parent/guardian.

RANGE

The following is the dates for the marksmanship team and biathlon team. Any 822 cadets are welcome to come out and participate on the team. Cadets are welcome to come out and get their range qualification at any time during the training year. Range and biathlon teams will be posted by Lt Sych. Range dates as follows:

Sept 28

October: 5,12,26

November: 2,9,22,29

December: 7,14

January: 11,25

February: 1,8,22,29

March: 7,14,28

April: 4;11;25

May: 2,9,23

New Recruits Welcome! 6 Sept!

Returning cadets and new recruits – we’re back as of 6 September 2023, 1830h (6:30pm).

For registration, you’ll need to fill out the application either online, or on site. To complete the registration a copy of either a passport or birth certificate is required. We can make the copy on site. A valid OHIP card number is also required. Admin officer is CI Carnochan, and questions can be directed to her on site, or through email (see Contact page).
